Spring Clean Wardrobe Drive

Spring has arrived, making it the perfect time to declutter your wardrobe—and make a positive impact while you’re at it!

Donate your gently used clothes and accessories to Common Equal, a community-driven clothing exchange charity, and help empower those in need.

How to Participate:

1. Launder your clothing and bag them up – Ensure your donations meet the guidelines below.
2. Drop them off – Place your items in the Common Equal clothing boxes.
3. Support a great cause – All clothing will be donated to Common Equal, a community-driven clothing exchange charity.

Clothing boxes will be available from October 7th to 18th.

Clothing Box Locations:

Bayleys House Lobby – Next to Atomic
Datacom House Lobby – Next to Mojo
Microsoft House Lobby – Next to Anchorpoint Plaza
Fonterra Lobby – behind reception
Auckland Transport Lobby

Items Common Equal accept:

In addition to clothing, they accept shoes, bags and accessories such as hats, belts etc.
Minor defects like broken zippers, missing buttons and torn seams are fine; they repair these.
Shoes must have their laces.
Donations must be counted before dropping off. Please note your garment count either on the outside of your bag paper, if paper or on a note inside.

Items Common Equal do not accept: 

Clothing with permanent stains
Bedding such as pillows, duvet covers, sheets, tablecloths, et cetera
Costumes or fancy dress items
Onesies
Dressing gowns
Used underwear, socks or swimwear. Unworn garments, new with tags, are accepted
Costume jewellery
Sunglasses (unless new)
Fabric scraps

Common Mission

Common (previously Koha Apparel) is a registered charity that seeks to uplift our most marginalised, providing clean, quality clothing to those in need at no cost. Utilising clothing and footwear donations from the public and brand partners, these industry partnerships create opportunities for social inclusion while advocating for a circular economy in Aotearoa, New Zealand.
