Mending workshop

Join us for an lunchtime mending workshop on 23, 24 (new session), or 25 July, reduce waste, and help keep clothing out of landfills.

💚Mend your own clothing: Bring a piece of clothing that needs a little TLC and get hands-on practice with guidance from our expert facilitator.

💚Learn basic mending techniques and master simple stitches and repairs for common clothing woes like ripped seams, popped buttons, and snags.

💚Share tips & tricks: Gain valuable knowledge from fellow mending enthusiasts and swap creative solutions.

💚 Leave with a complimentary sewing kit to enable you to repair clothing at home, resourced from reusable items and sewn together from second hand fabrics.

No prior experience necessary! This workshop is perfect for beginners, and anyone interested in learning practical mending skills.

Leave feeling empowered to extend the life of your clothes and embrace a more sustainable lifestyle!

Each workshop is facilitated by The Repair Cafe and is limited to 12 people to ensure personalised attention and an improved learning experience.

Please note if you sign up and later find that you cannot attend, please provide us with at least 48 hours’ notice to allow us to offer your spot to someone else.
