Join Air New Zealand for the Enable Network’s Social Enterprise Christmas Market
Air New Zealand is proud to invite the rest of the Harbour Grounds community to the Enable Network’s Social Enterprise Christmas Market to celebrate the International Day of People with Disabilities.
When: 11:00am – 2:00pm, 2 December 2022
Where: Courtyard at 185 Fanshawe Street
Who we are: Air New Zealand’s employee network the Enable Network is focused on supporting employees with disabilities or employees caring for people with disabilities.
The market will feature a number of social enterprises that employ or are run by people with disabilities. Come along, support these vendors and get your Christmas shopping sorted.
We also encourage you to get in the spirit of IDPWD and wear purple, and you could win!
To give you a taste of some of the fantastic stalls that will be selling (and buy online if you can’t make it in person) – check out the below vendors:
🎄Matt and Tom are twins with Down Syndrome who make fantastic eco-friendly Christmas trees
🎄Our Harvest employ youth with disabilities to work in the Recreate kitchen making a wide range of delicious products including sauces, chutneys, jams, relishes and jellies
🎄Oliver, who also has Down Syndrome, makes delicious handmade dog biscuits through his own company Oliver’s Doggie Treats. Orders can be made through his Facebook page.
🎄Laetitia Tan is a teenage author with Down Syndrome who sells her book ‘The Awesome Superheroes’ through her Facebook page
🎄The Cookie Project is a social enterprise employing Kiwis with disabilities to make tasty cookies.
